| Review: Got the £100 as soon as the switching service had finished, but had to wait 120 days for the £25. Worth doing for the cash but closed it as soon as I could because the service at A&L was so slow! |

| Review: Wanted to switch banks anyway (since Halifax changed their charges and became greedy- I don't even use my overdraft but if I did I wouldn't pay £1 a day uncapped for the privilege, it's just there as a buffer JIC) so getting £125 free for doing something I planned on doing was fantastic. A&L have so far proven to be efficient, but expect copious amounts of mail from them- more than I deem to be necessary. |

| Review: the switching service worked 100% for me , it swapped all my DDs and Payments automatically. within a few weeks of opening the A+L account they had paid me the £100 switching bonus...
The GreasyPalm cashback i got was £35 as it was on a promotion week . it took over 120days to validate as i had to submit a ticket.. a week later the £35 GreasyPalm was validated. An easy way to grab yourself £135 quid in these tough times. I will prob swap back to my old bank now ive been given the bonuses. only 4/5 because time to validate was so so slow |

| Review: Whilst GreasyPalm gave me my cashback very fast (thanks GreasyPalm ) I am still waiting (4 months later) for my cashback for joining (£100) and for referring a friend (£25). Everytime I contact them they say it will be in my account in 10 - 14 days, yet I am still waiting.
Has anyone else actually received anything? I have a feeling I am never going to. |

| Review: Good cashback, especially with opening a Premier account, which as long as you can put in £500 a month (doesn't matter if you spend it) it's free! Also I got free european travel insurance with this account - far the best deal I have seen.
Only downside is that this offer is too good and it seems they have far too many customers. After negotiating a very complex phone automated security process (password and customer number - if you don't have it you're not speaking to anyone!!) there is a really long wait for the phones and the staff seem very eager to move onto the next call. Also because of high volume my account is taking nearly 6 weeks to transfer over after being quoted 2 weeks in their account switching letter. Hope this service improves over time because it is a tasty deal! |

| Review: Just to clarify from Carolines review. According to the A+L site you do NOT pay a monthly fee for the account, but you must deposit at least £500 every month. If this si going to be your main account for salary and DDs, this is unlikely to be a problem. |

| Review: In order to get the full £125 cashback you need to open a Premier Current Account (which you pay for) and get £25 from GreasyPalm and £100 from A & L themselves. Not for me as I don't want to pay for a current account, but certainly a good offer if you do.
Or of course you can just switch to a normal current account and get £25 cashback-not bad!! |
