| Review: The website looks a little daunting for some but I have to say, have a list in the kitchen and when you're ready to shop, go on the website and fill your trolley.
Minimum spend for delivery is £25 and depending on the local Asda catchment area, there tends to be a lot of slots available (a few years ago, you had to pre-book your slot near enough 1 month in advance - now you could get it the same week).
Prices for home delivery vary for each day, Friday and Saturdays tend to be the most expensive, I usually opt for Monday / Tuesday, plus I'm more likely to get the times I want. These can be as early as 8am to 10pm (depending where you live).
Staff who deliver are usually friendly, take any spare plastic bags, and show you your substitutions (if you opt for that) and ask if they're suitable. I've had one ask me if I need a hand carrying anything heavy into the kitchen!!
Sometimes I am disappointed with how many things I don't get due to them being out of stock. If you opt for the subs, they give you the closest match (sometimes it's been a more expensive item but you get it for the price of the original you order!) |
